Slab Sampling
Happy Monday! I thought today I would share some of the slabs that I have in-progress for the next collection of earrings.
I’ve been seeing this color combination in a lot of places lately, and I really love it. Instead of making a silkscreen, I cut this design out of acetate and pushed it into the clay well. I then painted over it and I’m really happy with how it came out. I am planning on putting a resin topcoat on these pieces.
I finally got a real needle tool, and having a good handle on the tool has made the process of adding the detail to these flowers so much easier.
This slab feels so cool! I love the texture, and it definitely changes when you look at it from different angles.
This is technically not a slab, but I love these ones. I used a silkscreen stencil to make the gold windowpane pattern and then sculpted florals to go on top. I can’t wait to see these finished!
I don’t have a clear date on when I’ll be releasing these yet, but it will probably be sometime in the next two weeks. Have a great week!
